“The formation of this league is a huge step towards growth of Lacrosse as it will provide more opportunities for competition and growth. The SLA looks forward to watching this league grow and to all the great accomplishments it will bring to Lacrosse in Saskatchewan” - Shawn Williams, SLA President.
The Saskatchewan A Lacrosse League is something lacrosse in this province has been building towards since the second A lacrosse club was formed 3 seasons ago. The Northern LumberJax, Regina Barracuda, Saskatoon SWAT, and Southern Elites are the inaugural teams for the league, bringing elite lacrosse players together from every corner of the province. This is a very exciting time for lacrosse in this province and I am happy to be a part of this growth! - Alex Kratz, Commissioner Sask A Lacrosse League
The league would not have come to fruition if it wasn’t for all the hard work of the volunteers from the different Lacrosse communities that were involved. The SLA is grateful to everyone for their hard work that has helped us take another step in growing the game across Saskatchewan.
