North Sask U16 & U19 Field Announcement
As the result of no South Provincial Teams being formed at the U 16 and U 19 levels, the Men’s Field Sector will allow athletes the opportunity to try out for the North Sask U 16/19 Provincial Teams. Athletes interested in trying out for the North Sask Provincial Teams must be in attendance for the age appropriate camps outlined below:
North Sask U 16 Team Open Try Out:
The try-outs will start with skills and athletic evaluation. There will be a short break for players to take in nutrition and fluids (with a coaches chalk talk) followed by a controled scrimmage for game evaluation. Players are asked to bring there own snack and fluids but water is available on site. If there are any questions, please contact Denny Johnson at dennyjohnson@shaw.ca

SENIOR MENS LACROSSE
SUMMER AND FALL LEAGUE
2010
1. Weekends: August 7 & 8 in Moose Jaw
August 28 &29 in Saskatoon
September 11 & 12 (location decided Aug 7th)
2. Fees are $50.00 per weekend. Fees MUST be paid before games start.
3. Must be 19 years old to play.
4. All interested players must register with Lori Love prior to August 7th weekend.
5. Should there be enough players registered for 4 teams, full field will be played. If not enough players, we will try for 7’s.
6. Anyone that did NOT pay their fees last year will be required to do so as well as their fees for this season.

2011 NAIG in Wisconsin Cancelled
The 2011 North American Indigenous Games in Wisconsin have been cancelled as the host committee needed to withdraw. Sask Sport has indicated to us that they are working wtih the remaining provinces to establish some type of national games. But in the mean time, they have asked us to cancel all identification camps until further notice. If you have any questions, please email Lorelee Belisle at lorelee_b@hotmail.com.
Saskatoon Stingers Green Capture U16 Provincials
 In a great weekend of lacrosse, the Saskatoon Stingers Green captured the 2010 Intermediate Men's Field Lacrosse title with a 12-11 win over the Saskatoon Stingers White. In the bronze medal game, the Prince Albert Flow defeated the Regina Devils.

CLA launches YouTube Video Contest A message from the Canadian Lacrosse Association:
Please find attached the guidelines for a CLA YouTube contest that we will be running this year. Videos will be screened at the office and uploaded to our YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/canlacrosse. First, second and third place finishers will be selected in four different categories. The deadline for videos to be submitted is August 31, 2010 and the winners will be contacted directly and announced on the CLA website in early October.
