What is Sixes Lacrosse?
Sixes is lacrosse like you’ve never seen it before - fast-paced, high-scoring, and action-packed from start to finish. Played with six players per side on a smaller field, Sixes keeps the game moving with a 30-second shot clock and continuous play. It’s an official discipline of World Lacrosse and is the newest format being played around the world — including right here in Saskatchewan!

How It Compares to Box and Field Lacrosse
Sixes blends the creativity of field lacrosse with the speed and intensity of box lacrosse. If you’ve played either version, you’ll recognize the skills - but in Sixes, you’re always in the action.
Why You’ll Love Sixes
? Fast & Exciting - No standing around. Every player is constantly involved in offence and defence.
? Inclusive & Adaptable - Works for all ages, genders, and skill levels. The format can be modified for mixed teams, younger players, or adaptive needs.
? Skills Development - Perfect for improving stick skills, decision-making, and fitness.
? Social & Fun - Shorter games mean more opportunities to play and connect with other players.
Who Can Play?
Sixes is for everyone - whether you’re a first-time player or a long-time veteran looking to try something new. Our programs welcome:
- Grassroots through Senior divisions
- Male, Female, and Co-Ed divisions
- Players of all experience levels
